SFTP

The SFTP tab (Quick Connect or saved connections) opens a remote file browser. Upload, download, rename, delete, create folders, bookmarks and opening files in external apps — all supported.

Navigation

• Click a folder to enter it.
• Back arrow / breadcrumbs to go up.
• Default directory from the connection settings opens automatically after login.
• The tree icon in the toolbar switches the listing to an expandable directory tree — tap it again to return to the flat list.

Upload and download

• Desktop: drag a file from the system file browser onto the window — upload starts automatically with conflict detection. Dragging a remote file out of the window into your file manager downloads it.
• Android / iOS: use Share to DR-Terminal from any app (Share Sheet) — pick a saved connection and the file is uploaded to that connection's default SFTP directory (root when none is set).
• Download: long-press a file → Download (mobile) or right-click → Download (Desktop). Save locally or share directly.

Bookmarks

A next to the path saves it to the per-connection bookmarks list. Once you have bookmarks, a bookmarks icon appears next to the star — it opens the list, and one tap jumps to the path.

Transfer progress

The browser runs one transfer at a time. While it runs, a progress card above the listing shows the file name, bytes transferred, total size and percentage.

Opening files

Open downloads the file to a temporary location and hands it to the system-default app for its type — text in your editor, images in the gallery, PDFs in a PDF viewer, etc. If you edit and save the file there, DR-Terminal detects the change and offers to upload the modified file back to the server.
